Something that I’ve been working on today that isn’t quite complete more like a rough draft.
Trade / Money / Dispersement
-Money and Trade needs to be removed entirely from the equation.
-Everyone seems to feel we need payment for our work. However this isn’t really true at all. We hold doors. Help with charity. Help in general without money being involved. Give items to people out of generosity. Give money to people out of generosity at a loss to ourselves.
-No work is required. So 98% of people lay around and party and have a good time. What is wrong with another individual or group of individuals enjoying themselves? There is nothing wrong with not working yourself to death. If you want to spend your entirely life not working. I don’t see any problem with that at all. You shouldn’t be required to. We have the means to make that completely possible. However you will have the ability to do whatever it is you want meaning you could also learn about whatever, Travel around the world, Explore space, Go around helping people who could use some help. Create a better system than we already have. Update machines so they function better and work efficeintly. Everyone has things they aspire to do regardless of the existance of money. However some are held back because they must work a job instead of doing what they love. Some people cannot get a job that they love. Without trade or worry of not having food on the table or your house being taken away and your tossed out on the street. You could do whatever it is you have always dreamt of and spend your life doing it. Take vacations as much as you want.
-Production of Items would be quality over price. If there were no price then the item would be made to fulfill a function or purpose. Where as in todays society items are made to sell for money. No more products that just don’t hold up and work very well.
-I say money and trade because if you remove money people simply give items the value of money and buy and sell with it and call it bartering. Bartering is not an alternative. It’s simply a more primitive version of money that is going to end up with society having a difficult time getting by in life.
-How is anything going to get done, items produced, transported, services rendered, and so on? People that want to work can. Just because they don’t have to does not mean they can’t or won’t. There are people who would want to keep this paradise going and those that just enjoy doing certain types of jobs. The main function would be automated machinery. Machines can be made automated to analyse and farm fields, stack shelves, cook, produce, and create whatever it is we want. We could slowly work on completely automating everything that is required in our survival. From there it would simply come down to orders, or requests for items or services.
-Humans would be left with either doing jobs that are already performed by machinery. Such as updating machinery. Integrating more ecological ways to do things. Reducing power consumption. More efficeint ways to mass produce items. Effective types of transportation that is more enviormentally safe. Everything that we don’t worry about now because we are to concerned about our jobs, income, our limits of spening and so on.
-Dispersement shall take the place of trade.
-Dispersement of items will be regulated by multiple individuals.
-If a request is denied it must be met with reasoning why and unless entirely unreasonable must find an alternate solution to the problem. So no request is really denied just simply different options are offered more or less.
-Requests will be taken and fulfilled on an as needed basis. Internet would probably be an optimal form of filling out requests as well as phone or text messaging pending on whatever it is you prefer.
-Top priority will be anything that would be considered life threatening.
-Example. Somone needs air and you need a big screen tv. The air will be processed and sent first. The tv will be done as soon as possible.
-Land will have to be seperated and used effectively. You will be allowed to operate farms or factories if you so wish it. If you want to build something you may make a request. If granted then proceed. However if you do not fulfill whatever it is you are using the land for it will be taken away. Example: if you want to farm land. You stop farming the land. The land will be put up for another use. However if you feel you want to do it again. You simply put up a request and once granted you can repeat the same process. Also you can do the job with automated machinery as a back up so if you don’t want to any longer do the job the machinery will take on the responsibility. However you will be notified if the land is going to altered for whatever reasons.
-You will not be allowed more than you need or is available. However you will have the option to make requests. For instance you may not own 42 houses. However you may own a house and stay in hotels in those places. If you would like to move you can simply put in a request. Visit the area and so on. If your house is not big enough or the land. You may put in a request with your details to either upgrade move or alter it in some way that it can work. Example: You and your partner move in together. Not enough space so you need more. Put in a request for a larger place fill out the information and circumstances. If your request is denied there will be reasoning why and you can try again. You may also talk the situation over with a machine or representative.
-On majority level your basic need of land will not be taken without a reasonable alternative available.
-Everyones needs shall be met. Air, Medicine, Water, Food, Shelter, and so on.
-Luxuries will be met on a as soon as possible basis. There may be a waiting period for items pending on the circumstances.
-Trash / Junk / Items no longer of use / Outdated
-There will no longer really be trash even though thats what we call it. There won’t really be any work to the person involved either. They will continue to throw things in the trash bin like they normally do. It just won’t be dumped in a landfill. It will be seperated and recycled and broken down as necessary.
-All items will be taken and recycled, reused, broken down into it’s most basic forms so we may use it agian. So it would keep us from running out of materials. Recycled items will be used first in factories or productions and so on.
Enviorment
-The enviorment is a higher priority than we really give it credit for. We have to live here. We need if at all possible to stop doing unfriendly things to the enviorment and find alternate routes that are enviorment friendly and healthy while still getting whatever it is that we want.
-Plants will be grown and repopulated and regulated as best we can.
-Animals will be given more safe havens to exist.
-The ocean needs to be cleaned up for all the messes we have created already.
-Land cleanup as well. Many places have different issues or problems due to the effect that we have had on them. We need to clean them up make them liveable.
Laws / Rights / Courts
-Courts and the effect on rights / laws
-When put into court processing you lose some of your rights such as your choice in death. Court process must take place first and then after court process’s are finished your rights may be restoredd if no punishment is founded. However if guilty during your punishment you will also lose certain rights such as your choice in death. These must be more exactly described fro each of the circumstances such as the mental health facility, prison, jail, and light punishments.
-Law needs to be abolished. There may be laws but rights will be the main concern.
-Law enforcement individuals or machines.
-They will have the ability to instruct you on a better path
-Arrest you if there is reasonable cause available that you have harmed another individual, if you plan to harm someone in the future, or if you are currently harming someone and continue to do so. Forcing you to serve out a punishment already deemed by a court system. Otherwise arrest is not necessarily appropriate.
-Detain you if you are possibly going to do something bad that you haven’t done yet. Detaining you is to avoid anything bad that could possibly happen. However this must be reasonable and is only temporary detainment. This needs to be defined properly.
-Laws may be small actions that hold light punishments.
-Example: You steal someones car. No damage is being done to another individual therefore a harsh punishment will not be imposed. Also in a tradeless society you can get another car without paying anything so once again no harm is really done.
-Rights need to be remade.
-The right to your own life. This basically means you have the right to live. You have the right to die. No one has control over your life and what you do outside of if it effects another individuals rights.
-The right to knowledge. You must be made aware of rights laws or anything like it that may or may not effect you in any way shape or form. Knowledge must be made available for you.
-The right to perform bodily functions within reason. This does not include performing your bodily function on another individual. When possible use an available facility of your choosing. However if there is no facility within a reasonable distance even in public you may perform the bodily function.
-The right to be free. You are not obligated to work or perform any particular function unless you want to. Rights and laws must not be made to the point where it is impossible to follow or understand them. Freedom to do whatever it is you like that does not effect another individuals rights.
-The right to transition. Currently those imprisoned and or being punished by old laws shall be re-evaluated and punishments will be applied by the new rights and laws. Example: If you are in prinson without good cause or enough evidence your sentence will be lifted and you will be re-entered into society. This also covers when law and or rights are updated. You will not be able to be punished under future law that you are not aware of for past actions. It must have reasonable time for people to be aware. Unless however it is an emergency right law that needs implemented immediately.
-The right to innocence. you are actually innocent until someone can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are actually guilty. You are not required to prove your innocence and your innocence will be looked into as well. To make sure people who are not guilty are not being punished. In the case that an innocent is found guilty they have the option to repeal and it must be done with in a reasonable amount of time. However if a repeal has already taken place. They may continue to repeal although after the first repeal it will be done on an as needed basis. Meaning more or less people on the first repeal will be bumped to the top of the pile. If your appeal is not met with reasonable amount of time. There must be good reason that the repeal has happened such as several other repeals already taking place. Otherwise you will regain your freedom.
-The right to a fair trial. A trial will consist of Mechanical defense, Mechanical offense, Mechanical Mediator, and as many people as agreed upon. With a mechanical defense offense and mediator this will be more fair beings there will be not human emotion or error in defending, offending, or mediating, The mediator will issue the punishment. The guilt will be decided by the people by vote . The mediator will not allow unreasonable punishments outside of the law and rights. You may repeal for another trial.
-The right to your body. Your body is yours and you may do with it what you wish. No one may punish you criminally for this outside of using your body to break the rights of another individual. Any procedures may not be done without your personal permission unless you are unconscious then they are allowed to save your life unless there is a reason not to available. This is not effective if permissions were previously given before any act of forcing a person unconscious.
-The right to light or no punishment if server damage has not been done to an individual. No harm no foul. That means no more putting people in prison for speeding if they haven’t actually caused an accident harming another individual.
Children / Parents / Guardians
-Mechanical Robot Guardians to protect, educate, and maintain consistent care.
-This is like a third parent that acts as a guardian that has the childs best interests at all times.
-The child will be in the care of the guardian till it reaches adult age. After adult age is reached the child may choose for the guardian to remain or move on to another child.
-The child will be protected from other individuals including if necessary from the parents as well.
-The guardian will supersede the parent if it is in the childs best interest.
-Parents will not be entirely replaced however they will not be necessary for the child.
-The parent is still welcome to visit and help take care of the child at any given time
-The parent or child may live with one another if it agreeable by both parties however it is not required.
-The parent does not supersede the guardian.
-The parent and or anyone may request that the guardian be checked if they are concerned for the safety of the child. However if this is in an emergency there will be an alternate guardian replacement to temporarily replace the current guardian until everything can be checked out.
-Children will have the same rights as adults outside of age related rights.
Prison / Jail / Punishments / Mental Facilities
-Prison is a severe punishment.
-Prison is a long term or permanent removal of an individual from society.
-Prison is only a place where individuals will be placed if they are deemed unable to function in society due to things like murder, rape, or severe damage in some manner to another individual.
-While in prison you will be required to work a regular job
-While in prison you will have your own personal space and not be in contact with other individuals.
-You may have visitors at pre-scheduled times.
-You may recieve items from outside, however they will be checked.
-Everything you have is a privilege and you will recieve nothing unless work is completed.
-If work is completed you will be given food, water, and any other natural privleges
-If work is refused. Food, water, electricity, anything you have except for the enclosed space that you are locked up in will be taken from you.
-Jail along the same lines of prison but a lesser version of punishment with shorter time.
-Jail is a place for individuals with non severe crimes as a punishment.
-Jail will have a time limit (for instance 3 months maximum)
-Jail will follow the same type of function as prison.
-Punishments outside of prison or jail.
-This is the lightest of punishments
-You can function in society without supervision.
-Pending on the crime the punishment may vary.
-Punishments will be of work that will be supervised
-Work hours may depend on the severity of the crime
-Mental Facility
-There are will be two types of mental facilities.
-There will be public and and non-public facilities
-A public facility is for people who feel they need help. They may come and go as they please.
-A non-public facility is an alternate to prison for individuals who need mental health care whom have commited possibly unspeakable crimes where prison, jail, or punishments will not suffice in this situation. They will not be allowed to leave without prior permission or proper repeal.
Conclusion
-This is a work in progress and simply put my thoughts on a viable version of society.
-This should not be taken as absolute and is subject to change.
-I think this would solve a list of problems that is nearly endless
-Life is not currently valued in the current society. It would be a larger priority.
-Health a large generic topic that covers everything from depression, bullying, mental illness and so on. These things would have available treatment and care without worry of a bill or what other people might think. People might be less concerned about the money and resources and more concerned about your well being.
-People would simply be healthier without all the stress that we have now put on us from maintaining a job, making money, spending your money wisely, Eating poorly because good food is not affordable, Vehicles could all be brought up to being able to drive on the road without worrying the front end might fall out from under you.
-This is just a few things which i will continue adding to and editing.
